Re: Tidalwave PS-1000 ports

BTW: The ZEOS was just a "branded" PS-1000, so if you still have it you didn't gain anything by buying the PS-1000. XD I must admit i never used the terminal capabilities of the model 100 back in the day. Well my Commodore C-64 did not have a modem and i always prefered it as the "Dat...

Re: Tidalwave PS-1000 ports

Well i used to have an TRS-80 Model 100 and i could never find any "cool" use for it despite being "really" portable back in the days. I guess i was spoiled by my C-64.The TRS-80 Model 100 had a whooping 8 line 40 characters display, but besides the To-Do app and some very basic ...

Re: Tidalwave PS-1000 ports

OK, money already arrived, I'll see that i can package everything tonight, so hopefully I'll be able to bring it to the post office tomorrow. I'm really curious about the CC-40. I only know it from photos. SInce you can't connect a monitor or TV of it I am curious what kind of prgrams one would writ...

Re: Tidalwave PS-1000 ports

Hi Curtis, wow USA is far from here. But oh well I guess i can send it as a letter when i find a box flat enough (Something like up to 1 inch thick is still regarded a letter by German post). I prolly lose money on this, but imma say 40 USD including shipping with tracking and insurance. Well after ...

Re: Tidalwave PS-1000 ports

Unfortunately the cables are incredibly rare, from my observations on ebay i think like 90% of all original owners lost the cables. I do have some port replicators left for the Tidalwave PS-1000. I guess i could sell one... These are not an official product, but pretty professionally made by a Germa...

Re: Finally did a full backup of my Tidalwave PS-3000

You're welcome. Did you use the files on any tidalwave? Just being curious here... If i have time i gotta try them on a PS-1000, maybe the PCMCIA drivers work...

Re: Sharp Mebius PC-NJ70a

No problem, just drop me a note when your financial situation allows buying this baby. I made a list of stuff i should sell on ebay and the list got pretty long, so i guess i can move it to the bottom of the list. BTW: I played a bit with the SPA.dll to control the panel - getting the exported funct...

Re: Sharp Mebius PC-NJ70a

Ah how funny - just yesterday i got it out again and played a bit with it. Actually i wanna try programming my own tools for the touchpad display. Curiosity never ends... I can't promise I'll keep it like indefinitely. At the moment we're saving for a new family car and I already started selling stu...

Raon everun drawbacks

OK i try to collect drawbacks for every UMPC, so this time it's about the Raon everun. - Screen cables. Well most Raon everun i have had started getting weird lines that run through the screen, typical sign of a bad contact of the video cable. If this would have happened sometimes then maybe bad luc...

Drawbacks of the Wibrain

Aight, so UMPC is perfect, so here are some flaws i collected for the Wibrain: - It's a brick! Not brick as in "Doesn't work", but like a brick in your hand. It's just too thick and too long to fit in any real pocket unless you wear baggy pants with these huge military style pockets. Could...
